Third Party Administrator Services

The County is seeking a vendor to provide Third Party Administrator services for its Workers’ Compensation Claims processing. The selected administrator must monitor each injury claim with the objective of returning the injured employee to work as soon as medically possible. To manage these on-the-job injuries, the claims adjuster will collaborate with the managed care nurse manager. When an injured employee is unfit for full duty, the claims adjuster must work closely with the employee's supervisor and case manager to arrange a limited duty position within the employee's medical restrictions. The claims adjuster must maintain familiarity with the State Workers’ Compensation Statutes and ensure all required state filings are completed in a current and timely manner. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. The County has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 30, 2026.
