Patient Wandering Management and Infant Security System

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide and install a patient wandering management system with infant security capability. The primary purpose of this system is patient wandering management, specifically to continuously monitor banded patients within the nursing unit. The system must alarm when a banded patient approaches any of the three exits from the nursing area and initiate a temporary lockdown at the exit. This lockdown must interface with the agency's existing Von Duprin delayed egress panic hardware, which has a fifteen-second delay, when a banded patient attempts to exit. The requested system must support adult wandering bands, paediatric wandering bands, and infant bands on the same platform. The agency requires an outline of required maintenance, ranging from daily operator-level tasks up to work that requires a manufacturer's representative. Bidders must also submit a price proposal for an annual inspection to be conducted by the manufacturer or an authorized representative. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations only. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
