Traffic Projections and Forecasting Studies Service

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking professional and technical services for the collection, processing, and reporting of traffic data and traffic projections. The selected vendor must provide all personnel, equipment, materials, accessories, transportation, software, and incidentals required to perform these services offsite. The agency needs a partner to coordinate and direct requests efficiently while providing additional information on agency design traffic forecast policies, recommended practices, and the Office of Planning procedures. The scope of work includes coordinating and attending discussions with the agency project management team, attending scoping and other project meetings, and clarifying information in the Design Traffic Forecasting Manual. The vendor must refer requestors to the Travel Demand Model team for model outputs and provide training on traffic forecasting topics to entry-level staff. Additionally, the service provider will receive and evaluate incoming Traffic Forecast Request Forms, assign requests to qualified team members, maintain organizational logs, and escalate schedule risks or resource constraints. Bidders must perform all work onshore within the United States. The agency is seeking proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. The contract period will span one year, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 24, 2026.
