RFI for Managed Service

The government authority located in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking information on comprehensive managed services to support its diverse IT infrastructure. The agency needs a partner to handle the management, operation, maintenance, modernization, security, and continuous improvement of its on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. This initiative aims to secure robust cloud hosting, infrastructure, platform, database, operational, transition, and disaster recovery services. The scope of work requires twenty-four hour, seven days a week, three hundred sixty-five days a year monitoring, incident response, customer communications, and tiered operational support. Specific service areas cover Azure and AWS cloud platforms, operating systems support, SQL database administration, application hosting, and application modernization. Additionally, the agency requires colocation infrastructure support, server virtualization services using VMWare, MS Hyper-V, or Nutanix, storage management, Akamai and related content delivery network security services, and enterprise-wide web hosting. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific key dates or evaluation criteria in the initial request.
