Aerial Survey and Surface Modeling Service

The government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide aerial survey and surface modeling services. The agency needs to define the area of interest for the survey, which must cover the entire land area of the island, the intertidal zone, and an appropriate coastal and near-shore zone. To solve its geographic data needs, the authority requires a review of the standards and requirements for national land surveys and geographic information system mapping. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to identify specific locations for ground control points and for launching and operating drones, helicopters, or airplanes. The vendor must position equipment and personnel at the launching point, conduct an airborne LiDAR survey, and capture site data as specified in the Detailed Survey Plan.
