Board Administration, Operational and Team Development Consulting Services

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority in Reno, Nevada, is seeking board administration, operational, and team development consulting services to support its strategic priority of building a strong organizational culture, investing in leadership development, and fostering collaborative working relationships. The agency requires a consultant to review the Board structure, bylaws, committees, and processes, and to create a structured onboarding process for new Trustees. The selected partner will suggest improvements to meeting effectiveness and decision-making processes, provide benchmarking tools against peer Airport Authorities, and offer guidance on Board oversight during major capital projects. The scope of work also includes facilitating sensitive administration and operational conversations, conducting confidential assessments to understand Trustees' perspectives, and facilitating follow-up sessions to measure progress and reinforce improvements. These consulting services must be coordinated with the Board administration and operational work to ensure alignment and consistent messaging across all levels of the organization. The agency will allow the selected provider to perform all work offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States.
