Embedded Youth Substance Use Treatment Behavioral Health Services

The Nevada County Behavioral Health department in California is seeking a contractor to provide embedded youth substance use treatment behavioral health services. The agency requires early intervention and outpatient services, which include Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System outpatient services. To address these needs, the selected provider must implement and assess fidelity to at least two evidence-based practices per service modality, choosing from motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, trauma-informed treatment, and psychoeducation. The scope of work requires all program participants to undergo an assessment using the American Society of Addiction Medicine dimensions. Outpatient services under Level 1 must consist of less than six hours per week of medically necessary services for adolescents, and up to nine hours per week for adults. The agency also requires the contractor to perform reporting and quality assurance activities. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to apply for this opportunity. The selected contractor must perform all of the work onsite within the local jurisdiction. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services.
