Detainee Healthcare Services

The Socorro County government authority in New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive medical, mental health, psychological, psychiatric, counseling, therapy, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment services for detainees. The agency requires twenty-four hour per day on-call coverage for inmate patients, including urgent and emergent services when clinically required. Additionally, the selected provider must deliver basic medical training to detention staff as determined necessary. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The scope of work allows for performance of the services either onsite or offsite. The resulting contract will span a performance period of one year. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for July 7, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 14, 2026.
