Workers’ Compensation Administration Service

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide workers’ compensation administration services to mitigate and manage the costs associated with work-related injuries. The selected provider must review all medical bills for conformance with the workers’ compensation fee schedule and reduce these bills to the proper amount when the fee schedule is exceeded. The scope of work requires the vendor to establish and maintain complete claim files, including electronic files, and supervise all claim litigation for each claim received. The chosen partner must provide representation at workers’ compensation board panel hearings, with such expenses treated as a claim file expense. The agency requires the preparation of self-insured employers workers' compensation forms, as well as the preparation and filing of all workers’ compensation claim forms. Additionally, the service provider must prepare and mail compensation payment drafts or checks to claimants and claimant’s attorneys. The required services encompass supplemental benefits and special funds reimbursement administration, mandatory Medicare reporting, electronic filing, and claim management. The agency also demands claims administration, loss reporting, financial reporting, and cost savings analysis. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations, and the performance of the work can be conducted onsite or offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. The contract period will span three years.
