RFI for Physical Access Control System Solution

The government authority located in Albany, New York is seeking information for a physical access control system solution. The agency needs a system applicable to diverse environments, including residential, research laboratory, medical, office, classroom, datacenter, and other highly secure facility spaces. The proposed solution must scale and support robust reporting and analytic capabilities from a centrally managed system to accommodate more than 4,000 existing access control locations and future expansions. The agency requires the access control solution to integrate with other enterprise systems to import demographic, role, and scheduling information. The authority has a strong preference for open and well-documented API-led integrations. These APIs must support real-time activation and revocation of access assignments and schedules inside the access control equipment. The requested system must support batch, webhook, or event-driven integrations for ingesting external system information to facilitate automated assignments. The agency also requires bulk user and account management tools, alongside mobile credential support for Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or equivalent platforms. Performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity.
