Security Escort Services

The Vancouver International Airport Authority in Richmond, British Columbia is seeking commercial security escort services for third parties, including airline partners and contractors, within restricted and secured areas of the airport lands. The agency requires operational, safety, and security oversight to enable authorized personnel to access and perform work in these sensitive zones. This oversight spans multiple airport environments, including terminal restricted areas, baggage handling and screening zones, mechanical and back-of-house spaces, aprons, service roads, and aircraft maneuvering areas. Escort supervisors must attend briefings and tailgate meetings to ensure escorts understand worksite controls, security arrangements, and hazard mitigations. Supervisors are also responsible for verifying that escorted parties hold all necessary permits, approvals, and documents of entitlement. Performance of all security escort work must take place onsite at the airport. Only organizations based in Canada are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than July 07, 2026.
