Hazard Waste Disposal Services

The Sam Houston State University system is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive hazardous waste management services across its campuses. The agency needs a partner to handle the segregation, packaging, collection, transportation, and disposal of various waste streams, including chemicals, laboratory waste, and unknown materials. Additionally, the agency requires compliance support, waste characterization, lab packing, containment, and labeling to ensure all operations align with federal, state, and local regulations. The scope of work covers both scheduled and on-demand waste pickups, with the vendor supplying all necessary containers, packaging, and labeling materials. The selected provider must inspect, overpack, and prepare materials for transport, as well as provide consulting on waste handling, regulatory compliance, and classification. All physical waste processing and administrative work must be performed offsite at the vendor's own facilities. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit.
