Nursing Faculty-led Program Services

The Minnesota government authority is seeking a vendor to implement a nursing faculty-led program focused on healthcare immersion with Nordic countries and societies. The agency intends to solve the problem of limited global health awareness among nursing students by enabling them to explore cultural health beliefs, traditions, and international healthcare systems. Through this program, students must gain a deeper awareness of global health issues, understand healthcare practices within systems and homes, and recognize their roles as healthcare professionals in an interconnected world. The scope of work requires the vendor to facilitate student development in global citizenship, culturally sensitive care, and self-reflection regarding cultural beliefs and biases. The program must enable students to collaborate with diverse groups to discuss health challenges and appreciate different perspectives in improving health outcomes. Additionally, the vendor must design the program to help students analyze how healthcare systems and cultural beliefs shape global health outcomes, while identifying how family, social, political, and economic factors affect these outcomes. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through an online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the agency no later than July 1, 2026.
