RFI for Revenue Cycle Solution

The issuing agency is seeking innovative, scalable, and efficient technological solutions to support critical operational functions within its revenue cycle. The agency needs autonomous or rules-driven tools to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and throughput of medical coding for both professional and facility services. This initiative aims to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve overall performance across key financial and administrative processes. The requested scope of work covers systematic medical coding support, automated prior-authorization solutions, and comprehensive billing denial management. The agency requires artificial intelligence or systematic tools that can identify potential coding-related and other claim denials before and after submission, assist in automated or semi-automated appeal generation, analyze denial and underpayment trends, detect underpayments, and produce actionable reporting. Additionally, the solution must assist with charge capture, coding validation, coding quality reviews, and the reduction of manual workflows while supporting compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines. These tools must ultimately support improved collections, reduced rework, strengthened coding accuracy, and enhanced overall revenue integrity. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted either onsite or offsite. Respondents must submit their digital responses via email or through the designated online portal. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
