RFI for Transponder Production Services

The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland is seeking information to identify sources capable of providing comprehensive transponder production services. The agency requires these services to support qualification and equipment certification testing, software and hardware configuration changes, data collection, processing, and analysis. Additionally, the selected partner will handle engineering and trouble report investigations, engineering change proposals, feasibility and integration studies, interchangeability assessments, laboratory simulations, logistics products, and obsolescence mitigation, which includes shop replaceable assembly procurement. The scope of work also covers government-furnished equipment repairs and the development of test plans and testing. The agency requires all work to be performed offsite at the provider's own office premises. To qualify for this opportunity, the agency limits eligibility exclusively to onshore, United States organizations. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services.
