Web-based Environmental Health Reporting System

The Indian Health Service is seeking a highly configurable, commercial-off-the-shelf, database-driven, web-based environmental health system to support a nationwide environmental health program. Approximately 250 environmental health specialists will utilize the system at the national, regional, and field levels. The agency requires a solution that allows users to attach pictures, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other common electronic files to any work record, and to email completed reports with selected attachments directly from the system. The scope of work requires a system that permits multiple related activities to be entered under a single overarching referral, complaint, investigation, or project. The system must allow users to document, track, and report information, as well as select, monitor, trend, and report specific electronic inspection violations. Additionally, the agency requires a user administration interface for managers to add or edit users and permissions, comprehensive data export functionality with user-defined parameters, and the flexibility to add, modify, delete, and manage ad-hoc reporting fields. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency specifies that the performance of the work will be conducted offsite.
