Professional Land Surveying and Map Checking Services

The City of Modesto, California, is seeking professional land surveying and map checking services to support municipal capital improvement and land development projects. The agency requires these services on an as-needed basis to ensure accurate mapping, boundary definition, and regulatory compliance for city projects. The selected partner will resolve the agency's need for ongoing, specialized surveying expertise without requiring permanent internal staff expansion. The scope of work covers GPS control surveys, boundary and right-of-way surveys, and topographic and base mapping. The agency also requires construction staking, aerial and lidar mapping, monument preservation, and the preparation of records of survey, parcel maps, lot line adjustments, and legal descriptions or plats. Additionally, the selected provider must review and provide comments for parcel maps, lot line adjustments, and easements. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires the selected provider to perform all work offsite within the provider's own office premises.
