Power and Light Outage Management System

The Independence Power and Light department is seeking a modern outage management system to replace its existing Schneider Electric Responder system. The current system lacks support for the upcoming utility network migration, which necessitates this replacement. The agency requires a solution that aligns with its long-term enterprise geographic information system strategy and integrates seamlessly within an Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environment. The requested system must leverage the capabilities of the Esri Electric Utility Network data model and effectively consume utility network data. The agency aims to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, system reliability, and safety across its electric distribution operations. The new system must serve as a trusted system of record, eliminating manual processes to ensure all outage, switching, tagging, and restoration data are accurate and reliably stored. The agency requires a user-friendly interface that facilitates efficient navigation, search functions, and overall interaction. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget, and bidders must submit all questions no later than July 6, 2026.
