Data Security and Governance Analyst Services

The agency is seeking data security and governance analyst services to design and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection policies. The project aims to establish and maintain sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data classification schemas for Copilot and broader Microsoft 365 use. The selected analyst must collaborate with the Microsoft 365 team to define Copilot guardrails, ensuring that artificial intelligence-generated content does not expose unauthorized data. The scope of work covers monitoring data access patterns, managing data access controls, and investigating anomalies using tools such as Purview Audit and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. The agency requires the implementation of data loss prevention policies to prevent oversharing of sensitive information both internally and externally. Additionally, the analyst must manage compliance portals, configure Microsoft Purview roles and permissions, coordinate with security teams for ongoing audits, and provide documentation, training, and support for department-wide adoption of artificial intelligence governance best practices. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. The agency requires all work to be performed onsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget.
