Artists Service

The agency is seeking professional artist services to integrate public art into transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, trails, pathways, and related facilities. This initiative aims to enhance public safety, visibility, orientation, wayfinding, community identity, and the overall quality of public spaces. The selected provider must develop site-responsive artistic concepts, prepare conceptual designs, and refine those designs through revisions. The scope of work covers transportation corridors, gateways, and wayfinding elements. The agency requires artwork that reflects community identity, culture, history, and environment while integrating artistically with functional transportation designs. The final products must withstand environmental exposure and high-traffic conditions, and the provider must fabricate and install the approved artwork in compliance with safety, access, and construction requirements. The provider must deliver comprehensive documentation and maintenance recommendations for the installed artwork. Eligible bidders are restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will accept digital submissions via email or online, and bidders must submit proposals outlining their proposed budgets for the work, which will be performed offsite.
