The City of Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a vendor to provide injury care coordination and navigation services for all employees within its police and fire departments. The selected provider will act as a single point of contact to usher individuals through the recovery process, with the specific goals of eliminating unnecessary appointments, reducing the time to definitive care, and minimizing the time between appointments. The scope of work requires the provider to schedule appointments for doctors, diagnostic testing, physical therapy, and all related medical needs. The agency requires 24/7 access to a live representative and a dedicated health care coordinator for each injured employee. Bidders must possess a local medical provider network capable of expediting medical evaluations and directing patients to appropriate specialists within 72 hours of the initial injury report. The provider must also coordinate closely with the agency workers' compensation team, its third-party provider, and the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries to ensure compliance with all state regulations. Eligible bidders must perform all work offsite within the United States and must possess documented experience working with police and fire personnel to demonstrate an understanding of their unique work environments and schedules.
