Emergency Sign Fabrication Services

The Charlotte County government authority located in Port Charlotte, Florida is seeking emergency sign fabrication services to produce various signs and markings in the event of an emergency. The agency requires all street signs to be fabricated on .080 aluminum blanks in sizes of thirty inches by nine inches, thirty-six inches by nine inches, and forty-two inches by nine inches. The signs must feature green electrocut material overlaid onto silver 3M High-Intensity Prismatic material to create green signs with silver lettering. The agency requires all street names to be in six-inch C Series letters, with three-inch C Series letters designating the road type such as Street, Road, Boulevard, Avenue, Drive, or Way. The border width must be .375 inches, and the corner radius must be 1.5 inches. If a street name does not fit on the maximum forty-two-inch by nine-inch blank, the letter size may be reduced down to five-inch C Series letters to ensure no letters touch or penetrate the borders. The agency is issuing this opportunity for onshore organizations within the United States only. The selected contractor will perform all fabrication work offsite.
