Advanced Metering Infrastructure System and Implementation Services

The agency is seeking to purchase and implement an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system to address its water management and billing needs. The project covers the provision of water meters, sewer meters, meter boxes and lids, and AMI endpoints. Additionally, the agency requires the installation of a data collection system, which must include data collection units, repeaters, other data collection network components, and connections to backhaul networks. The scope of work also requests portable devices and Head End System (HES) software that interacts with other AMI system components to obtain meter readings and monitor network performance. The selected provider must configure all system software, perform meter and endpoint installations, and deliver project management services. Finally, the agency requires professional services to implement the system and train agency staff on the new software. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work must take place onsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The agency will host a voluntary pre-bid meeting on July 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
