Information Technology Consulting and Contractual Services

The Montgomery County Public Schools, located in Rockville, Maryland, is seeking information technology consulting and contractual services to address its professional services and temporary personnel needs. The agency is trying to solve the problem of maintaining, integrating, and securing its complex enterprise platforms while ensuring equitable access to high-quality technical resources. The scope of work covers enterprise cloud and application support, including the configuration, implementation, and operational support for Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, ERP, and EPM), Infor Lawson, and student information systems. The selected contractor must design, configure, and maintain integrations using the Oracle Integration Cloud to bridge cloud-based and on-premises systems. Additionally, the agency requires support for information system security, which may include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and disaster recovery planning to protect enterprise infrastructure. The project also encompasses IT management and financial consulting, intelligent automation, business intelligence, web and internet systems, data science, geographic information systems, and specialized infrastructure and data center operations. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be conducted either onsite in Rockville or offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has scheduled a pre-proposal conference for July 15, 2026.
