Structured Cabling Services

The Westchester County Information Services Department in New York requires structured cabling services on an as-needed basis. The agency needs to resolve service interruptions by determining whether issues stem from internal cabling or the service demarcation point. To address these issues, the agency requires toning, testing, and troubleshooting of cables and terminations for analog voice, fax, data, and paging applications. The scope of work covers the installation of replacement cables and terminations as necessary upon county approval, as well as the installation of new additional cables and terminations. The selected provider must deliver these services and installations on a twenty-four hour, seven-days-a-week basis. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. While the agency is located in New York, the performance of the work will be offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is seeking proposals to determine the cost of the contract.
