The government authority in Victoria, British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive data management services. The agency needs to manage and support data for the Jackalope system by utilizing an agency-hosted web application. Key objectives include establishing a systems architecture for weekly polling of permanent counters and creating a secure electronic data exchange environment, such as a File Transfer Protocol site, for short count data. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to provide permanent count station administration, configuration, and weekly polling and processing of permanent counters. The agency also requires short count station administration, traffic data issue troubleshooting, traffic volume factoring, and factor group reviews. Additionally, the vendor must establish a method for tracking and notifying the agency of traffic counter issues and their resolutions, and deliver traffic data in Excel format accompanied by charts or maps. The contract term spans a period of two years, with the work being performed through a combination of onsite and offsite delivery. Eligibility is strictly limited to Canadian organizations.
