Audio System Upgrades Services

The City of Milford, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide audio system upgrades for the city hall. The agency needs to replace outdated equipment with a modern, reliable audio system designed specifically for spoken-word reinforcement. This project aims to solve the problem of poor sound quality by maximizing speech clarity, minimizing feedback, and providing consistent coverage so board members, staff, presenters, and the public can hear and be heard clearly during meetings and public hearings. The scope of work covers the removal of existing outdated equipment and the installation of new equipment rack systems, loudspeaker systems, and microphone systems. The selected vendor must provide a main chamber loudspeaker system, a main chamber foldback monitoring system, an AI-based feedback elimination processor, and podium floor picket and presentation connectivity. The project also requires the vendor to handle room acoustics and system commissioning, performing all work offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations only. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept bid responses digitally via email or online. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place on June 29, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
