Sports Performance Coach Services

The government authority located in Weber, Utah, is seeking sports performance coach services to increase the self-awareness, inform the academic behavior, and support the academic and athletic success of approximately 430 student-athletes currently competing in the Big Sky Conference. The student-athlete population features a high concentration of non-local and international talent, with approximately 15 to 20 percent of athletes being international and nearly 35 percent identifying as ethnic minorities, including significant Black, African American, and Pacific Islander populations. The student-athletes face grueling travel schedules and many are first-generation college students navigating a Division I environment without a familial roadmap, which adds a layer of imposter phenomenon to their daily responsibilities. The scope of work requires the provider to dedicate 50 to 80 hours to consulting with coaching staffs and administration. This consultation includes coaching the coaches on navigating Name, Image, and Likeness and Transfer Portal pressures, managing crises, and maintaining a healthy, high-performance culture. The selected provider must perform all work offsite at the provider's own office premises. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations only. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
