Land Stewardship Plan Services

The Town of Newmarket, New Hampshire, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional land stewardship plan services for a local conservation area. The agency requires a detailed natural resource inventory to inform and develop a new, comprehensive land stewardship plan. This project aims to assess the ecosystem health, document wildlife activity, and establish clear management recommendations to guide the future preservation and public use of the conservation land. The scope of work covers the assessment and description of natural communities, habitats, and ecosystem health, as well as the identification of key natural and cultural features. The selected vendor must use wildlife cameras to document wildlife activity and conduct a thorough assessment of existing trails. Deliverables include a suite of maps, GIS data layers, high-quality images from the wildlife cameras, and a final Land Stewardship Plan with relevant appendices provided in two unbound hard copies and one digital copy. Additionally, the agency requires a digital Story Map for the town website to inform visitors and residents about the significance of the conservation area and surrounding conserved lands. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to take place offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the designated online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget and cost structure.
