Opus Analyzer Software

The Texas government authority is seeking a vendor to provide Opus analyzer software and deliver necessary software updates for its Opus analyzers. The agency needs to update the operating software to implement upcoming legislative mandates, enhance the capabilities and data of the Vehicle Information Database, and improve oversight of the state inspection and maintenance program. The requested scope of work requires the software to prevent the printing of the vehicle inspection report until the communication session transmitting results to the Texas Information Management System is complete. The software must also enable the analyzer to receive and print portable document format files from the system, including vehicle safety recall information and vehicle inspection results. Additionally, the software must print vehicle recall information received during the communication session that occurs at the end of an inspection. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency requires the performance of the work to be completed offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for July 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 7, 2026.
