RFI for Online Knowledge Testing Service

The Government of New Brunswick is seeking information on online knowledge testing services to support its motor vehicle operations. The authority requires a solution that integrates directly with its existing Motor Vehicle Solution. The agency is currently exploring whether vendors have a fully developed solution already in place to meet these needs. The scope of work involves providing a bilingual platform in English and French that is currently configured by the vendor. The system must support three online knowledge tests, which can be bundled and configured with different fees for retests, alongside one test available for printing. The testing engine must randomize twenty questions from a pool of questions and answers, allow specific mandatory questions to be designated for specific tests, and accommodate tests over twenty-five questions for an additional fee. Bidders must provide a detailed service architecture as part of their response. The agency requires explanations regarding the frequency of feature updates, the opportunities provided to clients for pre-implementation testing, the impact of updates on system uptime, and any associated costs. The contract period for the resulting service will be for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located in Canada only. The performance of all requested work must take place offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for this service.
