Arena Wi-Fi Expansion Service

The government authority located in Estates, Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide arena Wi-Fi expansion services. The authority needs to solve the challenge of installing wireless infrastructure across diverse architectural surfaces, elevations, and mounting conditions in a large-scale arena environment. The scope of work covers the provision of all labor and materials for low-voltage cabling, termination, industry-standard link certification testing, and the physical installation of agency-provided wireless access points and associated mounting hardware. The project requires pathway construction, including the installation of all conduit, cable tray, J-hooks, or surface raceways needed to route cabling from the designated Main Distribution Frame or Intermediate Distribution Frame to the specified access point locations. Bidders must install Category 6A cabling that is properly managed, supported, and bundled throughout the run. All horizontal drop cables must utilize either black or grey outer jackets, and no other cable colors will be permitted. Bidders must terminate all cable runs at both the patch panel and at the access point location into a female RJ45 jack or keystone. The agency requires all cables to be clearly, permanently, and legibly labeled at both ends in accordance with VOHE IT labeling standards. Performance of the work will be offsite, and the contract period will run for one year. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency has not provided a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 6, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than July 10, 2026.
