Electric Vehicle Mobility Network Service

The City of Minneapolis, Minnesota, requires an electric vehicle mobility network service to support and expand its public charging infrastructure in the public right-of-way. The agency is seeking a vendor to supply electric vehicle charging hardware, components, management software, maintenance, and installation services. This initiative aims to upkeep and expand the existing deployments of public Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations, known as the EV Spot Network. The requested scope of work includes a Software as a Service system that allows for cloud-based operation, management, configuration, diagnosis, and reporting of the charging infrastructure. The agency also requires a mobile application compatible with iOS and Android operating systems to enable the public to view station status and locations, as well as initiate, monitor, and terminate charging sessions. Additionally, the selected provider must deliver both on-demand and regularly scheduled maintenance to ensure continued operational status, alongside installation services for new sites and chargers. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of the work may occur either onsite or offsite, and bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and intends to award a contract with a duration of five years.
