Bathymetric Survey Services

The government authority in Manitoba is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a bathymetric cross-sectional survey of a local creek. The agency requires this bathymetric data to support hydraulic modeling, which will help evaluate drainage feasibility and potential flood mitigation measures. The scope of work involves collecting bathymetric survey cross-sections and surveying hydraulic structures within the specified area. The survey limits for the cross-sections must extend from top of bank to top of bank, including the channel centerline. The selected vendor must perform surveys of bridge crossings and collect structural data, including deck elevation, underside girder elevation, pier width, number of piers, pier cap elevation, and the number and diameter of culvert pipes. All data points must be collected using a vertical datum and a horizontal projection. Eligibility is restricted to onshore Canadian organizations only. The agency requires the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Bidders can submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
