The Texas government authority is seeking licensed psychologists and psychiatrists to assess the psychological fitness, mental health, and suitability of security officers for their roles. The agency needs these professionals to administer, interpret, and report evaluation results to ensure officers meet the necessary psychological standards for safety, well-being, and job performance. The selected providers must categorize each officer's suitability as fit for duty, fit with conditions, or not fit and requiring further evaluation. The scope of work includes analyzing specific psychological and behavioral traits relevant to security roles and remaining available for follow-up consultations with the employer to discuss specific findings. Providers must also deliver recommendations for future psychological evaluations, wellness programs, or additional support for the security officers. All contracted work will be performed offsite over a one-year contract period. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and allows digital submission via email or online portal.
