Event Planning and Management Services

The City of Pasadena is seeking a consultant to plan, coordinate, promote, and conduct community walking events throughout the city. These guided walks and community activities aim to encourage residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to explore neighborhoods, parks, business districts, cultural destinations, and public spaces on foot. Through this initiative, the agency wants to promote health, active transportation, civic engagement, environmental awareness, and community connection. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to provide project management, event planning and implementation, and marketing and outreach services. The consultant must also produce a final summary report documenting the successful delivery of the program. While the agency expects the consultant to plan National Walk & Roll to School Day events, the provider may also propose alternative or additional event concepts that support the program goals. This contract supports event planning, coordination, outreach, and implementation, but the agency will not cover major expenses such as venue rental fees. Eligible bidders must be onshore USA organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than July 9, 2026.
