The agency aims to solve the problem of manual data entry and exception handling by implementing a solution that increases automation and straight-through processing. This project requires a platform capable of continuous improvement through artificial intelligence or learning-based capabilities to improve resilience, scalability, transparency, and auditability in accounts payable operations. The scope of work covers the automatic ingestion of invoices from a central accounts payable mailbox and the extraction and validation of key invoice data fields. The requested solution must tag extracted data to invoice images for traceability, provide structured exception management workflows, and enable supplier master data matching and validation. Additionally, the system must support integrated communication with suppliers, ensure data security and privacy, adapt to new invoice formats, and provide dashboards and reporting for performance monitoring. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organisations, meaning only New Zealand organisations may bid. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
