Career Navigation System

The Agency of Education is seeking a vendor to provide a career navigation system and consultation services to support its transformation efforts in personalized learning. The agency needs to strengthen expectations for high-quality, standards-based personalized learning experiences and expand access to career exploration and career-connected learning beginning in kindergarten. This initiative aims to advance the implementation of existing legislation related to new statewide graduation requirements within comprehensive system improvement efforts. The project covers the development of a career navigation system for school districts to embed grade-level competencies related to career exploration directly into core academic instruction. This system must ensure that career-aligned learning supports the attainment of rigorous standards while equipping students, families, educators, and counselors with accessible, actionable tools for academic and career planning. The requested solutions must promote equitable access, strengthen student engagement, support informed decision-making, and integrate with broader statewide initiatives related to graduation requirements, work-based learning, flexible pathways, career and technical education, and personalized learning. The selected vendor must engage partners in defining user requirements to pilot a career navigation platform specific to college and career readiness opportunities and graduation requirements. The scope of work includes collaborating with the agency and other educational partners to identify desired outcomes, creating a stakeholder map of internal and external career navigation stakeholders with points of integration, and conducting a landscape analysis of national policy and effective career navigation tools. Additionally, the agency requires an action plan with a scope and sequence for implementing the solution. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work may occur onsite or offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will be for one year.
