Incident and Event Management, Managed Detection and Response and 24/7/365 Security Operations Centre Services

Canada Health Infoway, a government authority located in Ontario, requires comprehensive cybersecurity monitoring and threat mitigation services to protect its digital infrastructure. The agency is seeking a qualified partner to deliver 24/7/365 Security Operations Centre services, managed detection and response, and incident and event management. This initiative aims to solve the problem of continuous threat exposure by establishing proactive security monitoring, threat hunting, and rapid event analysis. The scope of work covers the ingestion and monitoring of firewall logs, Active Directory, and Office 365 through the provider's Security Operations Centre and Security Information and Event Management solution. The selected provider must utilize the agency's existing Crowdstrike Endpoint Detection and Response software to deliver managed detection and response services. Additionally, the provider must manage licenses and support for the agency's Crowdstrike Falcon software, acting as a value-added reseller. The provider must coordinate with the agency's internal information technology and security resources to integrate systems with the chosen Security Information and Event Management platform. The agency requires direct remediation of threats or actionable remediation recommendations delivered to its internal information technology team. The provider must also supply a portal that allows designated agency representatives to open, view, respond to, and escalate current and historical tickets. Eligibility is strictly limited to Canadian organizations, and all contracted work must be performed offsite. The agency is establishing a contract period of two years for these services.
