Replace Intercommunication System

The government authority located in Washington, DC is seeking a contractor to replace the intercommunication systems at all twenty of its consular windows. The agency also requires the replacement of the paging system for the general consular waiting area and the associated waiting area outside of the building. This project aims to solve communication barriers by providing a fully operational system with voice amplification that allows both tellers and applicants to communicate clearly without raising their voices. The scope of work requires the selected contractor to provide and install a two-way intercommunication system, including a microphone, speaker, and control unit, at each specified consular window. The contractor must also deliver a clear audio experience for the paging system serving applicants in both the interior and exterior general consular waiting areas. Although the agency is located in Washington, DC, the performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore US organizations only. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Bidders must submit all questions no later than July 6, 2026, and the agency will host a site visit on July 8, 2026.
