EMS Peer Assistance Services

The Colorado government authority is seeking a vendor to provide emergency medical service peer assistance services. The agency needs to address the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of emergency medical service providers through education, recognition, and prevention. This initiative aims to solve the problem of unaddressed occupational stress and health conditions among emergency medical personnel by offering structured intervention and support systems. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to educate emergency medical service providers on recognizing and preventing physical, emotional, and psychological conditions. The vendor must assist providers in identifying these conditions, evaluate the extent of their needs, and refer them to appropriate treatment. Additionally, the agency requires the vendor to monitor the status of referred providers and deliver counseling and support to both the providers and their families. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for this initiative.
