Scoreboard and Sound System Installation Service

The Carlsbad Unified School District is seeking a contractor to provide scoreboard and sound system installation services at a school site in Carlsbad, California. The primary Watchfire scoreboard and video screen equipment is being purchased directly by the district. The selected contractor must coordinate with Watchfire to provide all structural components, including foundations, columns, and frames, as well as trenching, electrical and data routing, materials, and labor to deliver a fully operational and integrated system. The scope of work also requires site preparation and erosion control as detailed in the project plans. The contractor must install and maintain temporary erosion and sediment control measures, including fiber rolls along slope transitions, gravel bags around existing storm drain inlets, and a stabilized construction entrance to prevent tracking onto Monroe Street and Basswood Avenue. To maintain separation from the school, the contractor must erect a six-foot temporary construction safety fence with geotextile fabric around the perimeter of the work limits. Track resurfacing, field events and jumps rubber replacement, and synthetic field turf replacement shown in the plan set are excluded from this scope, as they were executed under a separate contract. Bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The district is seeking proposals to establish a contract period of one year. The district has scheduled a mandatory pre-bid meeting for July 15, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 22, 2026.
