GLOBAL - Managed Website Hosting, Development and Digital Support Services using WordPress CMS

The Population Reference Bureau is seeking a vendor to provide managed website hosting, development, and digital support services using the WordPress content management system. The agency needs to maintain and optimize its digital infrastructure, which includes managing a Google Cloud server environment and a self-contained Data Centre hosting environment running on a dedicated virtual Linux server. This work aims to solve ongoing challenges related to server configuration, resource scaling, uptime, security, and routine website maintenance across all agency sites. The scope of work covers managed hosting infrastructure, security management, ongoing support, ad-hoc development, and Google Analytics support. The selected vendor must manage DNS configurations, apply scheduled WordPress core and plugin security patches, and implement web application firewalls and malware scanning. Ongoing support of approximately eight to twelve hours per month will involve design adjustments, functionality updates, and search engine optimization. Additionally, the agency requires up to 160 hours per year of ad-hoc development and a comprehensive audit of its Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager configurations within sixty days of contract initiation. Eligible bidders include organizations worldwide, as the agency allows global participation for this opportunity. The performance of all requested work will take place offsite, away from the agency's physical offices. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally, either via email or through the designated online submission portal.
