Route Management and Optimization Software

The issuing agency is seeking a turnkey route management and optimization solution to improve its residential and commercial solid waste collection operations. The agency needs a comprehensive system that includes software, hardware, implementation services, training, maintenance, integration support, and ongoing technical support. This solution must solve the agency's need for dynamic and static route optimization, real-time GPS tracking, and operational monitoring of vehicle locations and route progression. The scope of work covers mobile in-cab technology compatible with Android or iOS operating systems to facilitate service verification and exception management. The requested technology must capture time-stamped service records, verify GPS locations, report exceptions, and document missed pickups. Additionally, the system must provide driver-to-driver and dispatcher-to-driver communication tools, turn-by-turn navigation to service locations and disposal sites, and management dashboards for analytics. The agency requires the selected provider to deliver complete implementation services, including project management, system configuration, data migration assistance, hardware deployment, testing, and post-implementation support. The solution must also integrate seamlessly with the agency's current and future systems. The contract period will span one year, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States.
