Student RFID Identification Badge Management System

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive, turnkey managed student RFID identification badge management system. This project aims to solve the need for a complete badge issuance solution, including web-hosted or cloud-based management software and initial bulk production of RFID-enabled cards. The selected vendor will also provide school-site badge issuance equipment, such as RFID card printers, photo identification cameras, starter supplies, and custom card design and encoding services. The scope of work requires integration with the district's student information system as well as its transportation management and telematics systems using application programming interfaces, secure file exchange, or other approved methods. The agency requires system configuration, implementation, testing, deployment, project management, and training for district personnel. Ongoing technical support, software maintenance, equipment support, warranty services, and credential management and reporting are also part of the requested services. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency requires all performance of the work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The contract period will span one year.
