The agency requires information on solutions that encompass entire Electronic Health Records systems as well as smaller solutions addressing specific functional areas. These functional areas include billing workflows, administrator workflows, medication administration workflows, and patient encounter workflows. For the billing workflow, the agency requires solutions that navigate from a medical billing specialist view to a billing dashboard, open daily submission work queues, review clearinghouse reports, and research rejected claims. The administrator workflow must allow users to select existing reports and email them to individuals who lack tool access. The medication administration workflow requires the ability to view medication orders and document administration in a record without network access. For the patient encounter workflow, the solution must allow users to review patient history from outside providers via interoperability mechanisms and capture patient consent for sharing records with referred clinicians. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to occur offsite. Respondents must submit their digital responses via email or online. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget or key dates for this market research request.
