RFI for E-Permitting Software Solution

The agency is seeking an e-permitting software solution to improve permitting processes across the department and establish a foundation for future modernization efforts. This initiative aims to reduce the number of existing and new databases, portals, and data collection products currently in use. The agency intends to improve the applicant experience, reduce administrative burdens, decrease processing delays, and increase transparency in tracking permit statuses. The scope of work requires a scalable system capable of handling high volumes of data and the complex, varying needs of different permit types. The solution must integrate artificial intelligence for multiple applications and processes, and it must allow staff to add or modify permit types quickly as regulatory requirements change. The project covers improving internal coordination, data collection, and data visibility across programs while standardizing workflows where possible. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The selected vendor must perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this undertaking.
