Public Safety Radio Tower Site Service

The Ulster County government authority located in Kingston, New York, is seeking a contractor to establish a complete, operational public safety telecommunications tower facility. The agency needs to solve the logistical and technical challenges of constructing a fully functional radio tower site to support its public safety communications. The scope of work covers comprehensive site preparation, including clearing, grubbing, erosion control, excavation, grading, and the construction of access and compound areas. The contractor must install all required underground electrical and telecommunications conduits, as well as reinforced concrete foundations for the tower, equipment pads, and associated structures. The project also requires the installation of perimeter security features, site restoration, civil improvements, tower erection, and the installation of antenna mounting systems and equipment. Additionally, the agency requires the installation of equipment enclosures or shelters with environmental control systems, followed by all necessary testing, inspections, and commissioning to deliver a facility ready for service. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work will take place offsite at the designated Kingston, New York location. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and has established a contract period of one year.
