Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program and Employment and Training Case Management Services

The Hudson County One-Stop Career Centers in Jersey, New Jersey require Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Employment and Training (E&T) case management services. The agency is seeking to solve the problem of unemployment and underemployment by providing coaching, career readiness, and training activities that lead to high-quality, satisfying jobs through a personalized, goal-oriented approach. The selected vendor will oversee the services of federally-mandated partner agencies based in the county career centers. The scope of work covers goal setting, career coaching, job search assistance, interview preparation, resume instruction, job placement, and retention support. Center staff must work with customers to establish education, training, and employment goals, select career paths, and utilize agency resources to search for jobs. Staff will teach customers how to create and improve their own resumes rather than writing the resumes for them, and they will provide one-on-one case management to help customers identify and overcome personal challenges to success. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget. The agency is issuing a contract period of three years.
