Staff Safety Alert System

The Kern County behavioral health authority in Bakersfield, California is seeking a comprehensive staff safety alert system to deploy throughout its facilities. The agency needs to address unique safety challenges in behavioral health environments, including escalating client behaviors, high acuity situations, and the requirement for immediate covert staff support. To minimize operational disruption and support a safe transition, the agency is planning a phased deployment approach to modernize its platform. The requested scope of work covers an alerting system that supports activation through wearable devices, fixed wall or desk-mounted devices, mobile or desktop applications, or automated detection equipment. The agency also requires an administrative interface that supports real-time monitoring, configuration of alert pathways, system management, and access to reporting functions. Performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations.
